Why I Always Sneak Couples Out for Golden Hour Wedding Photos
One of my favorite moments on a wedding day happens when the celebration is in full swing and I quietly steal my couple away for just a few minutes. The music is playing, guests are laughing, and the energy of the day is high…but for a short moment, everything slows down.
We step outside, find that warm golden light just before sunset, and create some of the most beautiful images of the entire day. Golden hour has a way of wrapping everything in soft, glowing light that feels romantic, peaceful, and a little bit magical.
It’s often the first quiet moment couples get together all day. Away from the timeline, away from the crowd, just the two of them soaking in the fact that they’re finally married. And it is absolutely magical!
