Amanda + Carson | Engagement

This session felt extra special for me. I’ve known Amanda since she was just 14 years old — I coached her in volleyball, took her senior photos, and have adored her family ever since. Getting to photograph her engagement session with Carson was such a full-circle moment. These two are getting married next May in northern Minnesota, surrounded by the tall pine trees, so it only felt right to capture their session in a setting that reflected that same natural beauty.

Carson and Amanda actually went to the same high school but didn’t meet until years later — thanks to Hinge! They’ve been inseparable ever since, and after a year and a half of dating, Carson proposed to Amanda in the sweetest way possible: right in her classroom, surrounded by her students, with each of them holding signs that helped him pop the question. It was the perfect reflection of who they are — joyful, thoughtful, and completely in love. Their golden hour portraits radiated that same warmth, and I couldn’t be happier for these two as they get ready to start this next chapter together.
